Example of the Chaos

My phone just rang, at least the base did. We haven't been able to find our phone for a few days and obviously the battery is dead because we can't page it. It's not that big of a deal because anyone who wants to talk to us will call our cell phones if we don't answer the regular phone and we can make calls on our cell phones. Then my cell phone rang. It was my friend and business partner. We were talking for a while and then my phone died. Still not a big deal. Our phones die all the time and we just call each other back from a different phone. The big problem: I can't call her back from my home phone because I can't find it, and my cell phone is dead and I can't find the charger. It's here somewhere. I'm sure my friend is wondering what's going on. The frustration is never ending.
